GreenViet Named as LEED® Proven Provider™ by Green Building Certification Inc.
Green Building Certification Inc. (GBCI) officially honored GreenViet Consultancy Company as a LEED® Proven Provider™ in a ceremony at the LEED in Southeast Asia Series. The milestone occasion at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers marked the first time GBCI has organized an event in Vietnam.
In 2020, GreenViet became the first company in Southeast Asia to be awarded LEED Proven Provider status. The ceremony came three years later, as the original event was delayed amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, GreenViet remains the only LEED Proven Provider in Vietnam—and one of only three providers in Southeast Asia.
The LEED Proven Provider designation is intended to simplify the LEED certification process for organizations with a sustained track record of overseeing successful projects. In announcing the award, GCBI found that GreenViet had demonstrated consistent excellence in its submissions for over 100 LEED Certified projects.
“This award is a testament to GreenViet’s pioneering efforts in shaping Vietnam’s green building sector and popularizing LEED construction throughout the country,” said Santanu Duttagupta, Associate Director of Market Development for GBCI. “GreenViet was the first LEED Proven Provider in Southeast Asia, and we are excited to continue working with the company to drive green innovation in the region and realize Vietnam’s environmental goals.”

The event also featured a panel discussion with five representatives from Vietnam’s green building industry including Quang Do, GreenViet’s co-founder and business development director.

GreenViet has already overseen the LEED certification process for some of Vietnam’s largest green building projects, including the C.P. Headquarters, Spartronics Factory, and Savills offices in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
