On December 21, 2018, the Hand-Over Ceremony of SEEN House was officially held at Thong Linh High School, Phuong Tra Commune, Cao Lanh District, Dong Thap Province. INSEE Viet Nam, together with the board of judges and project partners altogether congratulated INSEE Prize 2018 winners for turning the ideas from paper to reality.

GreenViet proudly supports INSEE Vietnam as the judge and supervisor for annual INSEE Prize competitions! For SEEN House project, GreenViet instructed the project team to finish the application for SEEN House to receive LOTUS Green Building Certification. SEEN House achieved LOTUS Gold, certified by Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC), serving as a green building project with a meaningful message: providing a comfortable space for students to spend their midday break, especially those students who live far away from school.

The facility covers 700 square meters inside the school’s campus, and built by INSEE Vietnam in partnership with GreenViet Consultancy Company.

The SEEN House project marks a successful 10-year journey of INSEE Prize competition, which is dedicated to sustainable construction, social contribution, economic efficiency, environmental protection, and practicality.

Nguyen Cong Minh Bao, Sustainability and Communication director at INSEE Vietnam, said INSEE Prize not only helps participating students realize their ideas and nurtures the country’s future engineers but also contributes to raising public awareness of sustainable construction and improving Vietnamese people’s living conditions.
